This blog is about how we can transform suffering by “looking into suffering”.

I will use examples of the types of suffering I have been witness to as a mental health counselor as well as witness to with my own mind.

I will offer insights into how you can gain wisdom from your suffering as well as that of others. I will also offer insights into how you can “transform” suffering and move towards creating compassion, care and warmth . Learning these skills can help you gain relief and a deeper connection with yourself, others and with joy and freedom.

This is not purely a mental health blog but also a philosophical blog that will help you to think about life and suffering. If you allow it, it may help you to push past barriers that you have tightly held onto for a very long time.

It takes immense courage to look into suffering.
